A built up felt roof is an established method of weather proofing roofs, normally flat roofs, by using more than one layer of bituminous roofing felt which is bonded to the previous layer.
Three layers are usually laid, the first layer a vented layer of perforated felt which is not bonded to the decking so that the decking can move without damaging the felt roof.
The second layer is a fully bonded underlay and then installing any gutter drips and wall flashings, and finally finished with a mineral fully bonded cap sheet which is laid on top to protect the felt from the elements which is available in various colours.

Box profile steel cladding (aka box section or trapezoidal cladding) is a modern alternative to traditional 3 corrugated (or wriggly tin) metal roofing sheets.
The strongest and most popular sheet - Profiles 34/1000 trapezoidal, sometimes referred to as box profile single skin sheet gives maximum sheet strength with 7 rigid profiles of 166mm pitch across the sheet width and 34mm profile height.
It's made from wider coated steel strip to give a secure weatherproof lap and gives 1000mm actual width cover when lapped.

We offer a full range of lead work from stepped flashings to decorative lead work, all onsite welding by our trained staff, and flat roof overlays to your chimney lead trays.
All roofing lead work on hips, valleys, flat roofs and pitch roofs is carried out by our highly trained staff in lead dressing and welding on extensive properties throughout the West Country.
Roofing leadwork is used mainly to stop rainwater from entering junctions between roof elements and to channel water off a building.
