We specialise in installing and maintaining most types of flat roofs and roofline in Hampshire and surrounding counties. We undertake both residential and commercial works. All of our work is guaranteed for 10-20 years depending on the system. We install a variety of systems and our work is carried out to a very high standard - please take the time to look through our portfolio of works found on each service page.
Whether you need to renew an old roof or install a new roof on a new build/extension. They where hard working, reliable and really nice chaps to get on with. Nothing was too much hassle. They even had the right access equipment to save costs for scaffolding. Top job. Highly recommending to all. We couldn't be happier with our new roof, Miguel was polite, professional, efficient and very easy to get along with.
Nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

GRP (fibreglass) is fast becoming an increasingly popular choice of flat roof covering in the UK.
It is very hard wearing which proves a great advantage in many situations as well as being completely seamless and very aesthetically pleasing.
At MHT we are very experienced working with fibreglass on flat roofs and have a wide portfolio of our works.
There are 2 types of GRP that we use.
First there is the standard roofing fibreglass system.
And then there is a product called 'flexitec' by a company called RESTEC which is an enhanced version of fibreglass which cures flexible and allows a lot more movement.

At MHT flat roofing we are approved contractors of the "Alwitra Evalon" single ply system.
Alwitra Evalon consists of a fleeceback grey "evalon" membrane that is adhered down and heat welded together creating a lifelong watertight seal.
We give a 20 year guarantee on these roofs.
Although these systems are not the cheapest they are the top range of flat roofing materials and are usually the choice of Architects and commercial buildings.
They also need a certified installer ticket to be purchased.

Most flat roofs built pre-1990 are seriously lacking in any insulation, which makes them terrible at keeping your heat in, costing you a fortune during the winter months.
Even though many actually have insulation between the rafters, the need for ventilation to prevent condensation forming and rotting the timber deck inside, means that this actually creates a very inefficient flat roof.
These are commonly known as cold roofs.
Also, many of these cold roofs are not ventilated properly due to the lack of knowledge when built, and you could find that condensation is the problem instead of a leak.
