This covering is then heated with a propane gas torch and the membrane is then applied to the surface of the roof while the bitumen is still hot.
With its latest Twin Blend Bitumen Technology the torch on felt system benefits from both lower melt (SBS) modifications to the lower surface which require less heat and high melt (APP) modifications on the upper surface for added protection, with reduced foot markings and damage.
