The Price family first became involved in roofing in the early 1900's when Frank G Price (FG) worked in India as a civil engineer involved in bridge building and structural engineering which often included corrugated iron roofs.
One of the perennial problems of corrugated iron roofing was making the holes where the fixing bolts attached the sheets to the structure completely watertight.
