Proplas is owned and operated by Phil Mooney, a GRP fibreglass flat roof construction specialist, who has been in the industry for over 30 years. GRP, or glass reinforced plastic, is also known as fibreglass and provides an incredibly strong, durable and cost effective roofing system. We have bases near London in the South and Manchester in the North of England and have happy clients UK wide.

Proplas specialises solely in GRP or fibreglass roofing solutions and has done so since 1985. We are committed to providing long lasting quality roofs, a professional finish and an excellent service, all at a cost effective price. We happily offer free advice and quotes and operate UK wide with many testimonials to back up our work. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, ProPlas FibreGlass Roofing are true experts when it comes to fibreglass.

There's no better place to be for bespoke fibreglass roofing than ProPlas, who specialise in installing this type of roofing. We had a fibreglass roof to our conservatory which had been leaking for years with various unsuccessful attempts to repair.
Services
Proplas is run by Phil Mooney, a GRP flat roof construction specialist, who has been in the industry for over 30 years.
We employ a small team and use only the very best materials, relishing the opportunity to put our technical knowledge to the test to solve complex roofing problems.
We take pride in a job well done and are thorough and conscientious, paying great attention to the detail.
With bases in St Albans and Manchester we cover the whole of the South East and London areas as well as the North West of England and everywhere in between.
GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic, more commonly known as Fibreglass- a highly resilient and long-lasting material used in many sectors of industry including roofing for balconies, extensions, orangeries, garages, and flat roofs throughout the UK.
It was initially used for boat building because of its strength, waterproof properties and the fact it does not corrode in water.
These benefits make it a perfect roofing material, especially in the UK where the main challenge for roofers is creating a waterproof roof with material that lasts in the wet weather.
You have a lot of options when it comes to your balcony or flat roof - felt, rubber and other membranes are widely used in both commercial and domestic buildings.
However, none of them have the durability and reliability of GRP roofing.
Our customers love that they can have their roof installed and don't have to think about it again for at least 25 years.
If you have a bright or pale coloured roof, you will need to clean it occasionally but otherwise GRP roofs do not need any maintenance - no sticking down seams, no checking for bubbling, and no re-sealing.
Fibreglass is the perfect material for flat roofs and far superior to most other membranes available - it is completely watertight, with no seals or joins where water might be able to penetrate.
Fibreglass has been used to build boats and roofs for over 60 years - the material is so durable that those boats and roofs are still in use today.
Proplas fibreglass roofs all come with a 25 year guarantee so you can rest assured that your flat roof will last at least two decades, and very likely far longer with no maintenance and no need to repair.
GRP roofing is a favourite for domestic customers thanks to the versatility, ease of installation, and low maintenance requirements.
Glassfibre can be used for any flat roof, whether you'd like to replace an existing felt or rubber roof or build from scratch on a new extension or balcony.
GRP is a perfect material for house extensions - the material is versatile and can easily be installed around features such as domes and skylights that are often found on house extension roofs.
Once installed, a GRP roof will last for at least 25 years - every single one of our roofs comes with a guarantee on both the material and the installation so you know you will not need to change or repair your roof for at least two decades.
