Roofing products have progressed a long way since the early days of mainly bitumised products, with improved knowledge of structural stresses and thermal movements which in the past caused breakdown of the roof membranes, using this knowledge, vast improvements have been achieved in the production of new materials with the use of elastomeric and woven polyesters in the felt systems available today.
